Lens Types
Single Vision Lenses: The standard corrective lenses for nearsighted and farsighted vision. These can be adjusted to correct astigmatism, as well
Bifocal Lenses: Contains two visual fields – standard vision correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism, as well as a special magnification area in the lower portion for up-close reading
Trifocal Lenses: Similar to bifocal lenses, but with two areas of magnification for both intermediate (arm-length) as well as close-up viewing
Progressive Lenses: These multifocal lenses offer a smooth transition in magnifying power from top to bottom (distance, intermediate, and up-close) without visible lines
Lightweight Lenses
Polycarbonate Impact-resistant Lenses: A lightweight comfort lens offering significant impact resistance; Ideal for children, playing sports, and general purpose use, as well. UV protection is included in this lens.
High Index Lenses: Our lightest, thinnest lenses; Ideal for stronger prescriptions
