Each year as we head into fall, students head back to campus to hit the books. That makes fall a popular time for our academically minded patients to update their eyewear frames and add new prescription lenses for the clearest vision. If you’re like me, you likely have accumulated quite a collection of eyeglass frames over the years. Most likely, these will never be worn again. By the time we reach middle age, many of us have a dozen or more used, no longer fashionable, or simply outdated eyeglasses stuffed in drawers, cabinets, and boxes throughout our homes.
